Green Residence offers a renewable five-year framework for eligible skilled workers, freelancers, self-employed people and business investors or partners without a traditional individual sponsor.

What to review
- Skilled employees: qualifying occupation classification, education and current minimum salary criteria
- Freelancers and self-employed applicants: required permit and income or financial-solvency evidence
- Investors and partners: evidence of qualifying licensed commercial activity
- All applicants: category-specific immigration and documentation requirements
Important considerations
Before you proceed
- The current skilled-worker salary criterion is AED 15,000 per month, but salary alone is not sufficient.
- Freelancers, skilled workers and investors have different criteria; do not combine them.
- Green Residence is not the same as ten-year Golden Residence.
