Who Can Qualify?

Admission or enrolment at a Slovenian institution is essential

Working During Studies

€8.98 gross/hour from 5 February 2026

Qualifying temporary and occasional student work follows Slovenia's dedicated system; the rate can change.

Regular Employment

A Slovenian employer generally completes the Employment Service procedure leading to an Information Sheet and updated residence card.

After Graduation

Potential options include a Single Permit, EU Blue Card, business or another qualifying residence purpose.
